Gun Control

I'm not one to capitalise on the harm of innocent people to make a political point, so I won't discuss whether I think the GOP or Tea Party are somewhat culpable for the tragedy in Arizona (see Paul Krugman).

However, I will offer this point: You can shoot someone if you don't have a gun. I fear more generally that America is less and less capable of putting society in front of the individual.
